In case you missed yesterday’s post, the best sale of the whole. dang. jaar. just started and is everything you’ve dreamed of and so much much more (for so much less). As discussed, it’s not an end-of-season-please-buy-this-crap-that-no-one-else-wanted sale, it’s all brand new pre-Fall merchandise that hasn’t even hit other sellers yet.
While I mostly use this sale to stock up on the fall staples I’ll live in all season (like these over-the-knee boots or this beautiful leather jacket), the sale also has some absolute gems for summer that you can wear best nu. Today I’m highlighting five staple pieces that served me well on our recent trip to France and how you can score some of these favorites in the on-going sale.
Maar wacht! You said the Nordstrom anniversary Sale is all *Fall* stuff! I did, and it is. However, the brutal truth is that some people live in climates where it’s summer all. jaar. lang.

To help the poor souls who don’t get to spend October through March bundled up and freezing, Nordstrom included some remarkable warm-weather pieces in the anniversary Sale. But whether you live in a place where fall is not so different from summer or, like me, you simply are gutting it out in the sauna that is new York City through September, it’s worth keeping an eye out for those staple summer pieces while prices are rock bottom.

No need for a tee or a coverup going to and from the beach, just throw on a skirt or your favorite shorts and you’re ready for action. Not only are they easily dressed up or down, but they are actually much more comfortable and better for your back than flats. Ik ben dol op hoeden (en draag ze praktisch elke dag tijdens het reizen) omdat ze net zo nuttig zijn als ze in de mode zijn. Als ik op vakantie ben, heb ik geen motivatie om iets met mijn haar te doen en dankzij mijn verzameling hoeden, hoef ik dat niet te doen. Ik vind ook dat ik in de loop van de dag continu mijn zonnebril moet in- en uitschakelen. Of het nu in en uit winkels loopt of naar mijn telefoon moet kijken, het vervelende op en uit met een zonnebril kan me gek maken. Met een hoed (hoe schattig is deze?!), Zijn je ogen afgeschermd van de zon en hoef je het niet de hele dag aan te raken.

Inmiddels ben je waarschijnlijk veel bekend met mijn obsessie met all-things-Midi. Van potlood tot plooien, de Midi is de IT -nietje om nu het beste in uw kast te hebben. Combineer met een crop top of moto jas voor de lol of een blouse en blazer voor werk. Als je nog meer overtuigend nodig hebt, is de snit waanzinnig flatterend op alle lichaamstypes, en laten we eerlijk zijn, het past zowat elke gelegenheid die kleding vereist!
